Short, because there is not much to say. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will make it clearer rather than send you to a longer document.
What this site is
This site describes software we build and research we carry out. It is published for information. Nothing on it is an offer, a solicitation, or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial instrument, and nothing on it should be treated as financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
What we do not do
We do not manage money for anyone. We do not take custody of client funds or assets. We do not provide investment advice, portfolio management, or personal recommendations of any kind. We are a software company that also publishes research.
Research and simulated results
Where we publish the result of a study, we state the data, the period and the rule used. Any figure produced by a simulation is described as simulated and out of sample at the point where it appears. Simulated results are not a guide to what would have happened with real money, and they are not a guide to the future.
The products
QFI Terminal and DeepAlpha are tools for research and analysis. They display information and computed studies. They do not place orders on your behalf, they do not manage positions, and nothing they display is an instruction. Each product has its own terms, which apply when you use it.
Privacy
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and does not track visitors across sites. The only cookie we set is the session cookie created when someone signs in to the reserved area, and it exists to keep that person signed in and for nothing else. There is no newsletter and no sign up form, so we hold no mailing list from this site.
If you write to us by email, we keep the message so that we can answer it. Ask us to delete it and we will.
The reserved area
Access to the reserved area is granted by us individually. Accounts are not self created. Material behind the login is private and is not to be redistributed.
Accuracy
We try to be exact and we will correct mistakes when they are pointed out. We give no warranty that the content here is complete or current, and we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of it.
